We are a colective of musicians and programmers who love music in all forms. But sometimes the "love" can turn into "work". We created this site because we got tired of answering the same questions over and over again...
Where is the gig?
When do we set up?
How much do we get paid? and so on...
Two of us are in a band with 7 members. That's a lot of phone calls to tell everyone the same thing over and over. So we got smart. And we'd like to share our creation with you. We consider it a work of art, just like your music.
So here it is, Gig Revolution, real tools for real musicians. No more little scraps of paper with gig details scrawled everywhere. Write it once. Access it anywhere. For you and your whole band. Enjoy!

Tom Chipperfield
Tom is only one of us who doesn't play an instrument, but he's an amazing living room DJ! He's turned me on to some of my favorite music.
He is a true supporter of the arts. When I first approached him with this website idea he was enthralled right away and asked "When do we get started". He hosted the early version of this website on a server in his closet, deigned the main code architecture, and continues to advise me on good code design as well as writing kick ass code himself.
Tom and I worked off and on together on this project for over 2 years in his house. No pay - just the love of a good project and the appreciation of what it takes to make good music.

Peter van Gorder
Peter is the founder/creator of GigRevolution. He is the main feature designer as well as a Database and page coder.
He is the percussionist for Sol Horizon but likes to keep busy with a variety of groups including: Lost At Last, Kim Atkinson, Terra Nova.
He's also an audio engineer and just finished mixing and mastering Sol Horizon's first album. Check it out:

Mike Foulger
Mike is another "Musician's Saint". In his early years he was the apprintice to a man who taught him to fix instruments. How cool is that? He made one of my first Didjeridoos. He has also crafted a dulcimer, and most recently he made an acoustic guitar - complete with beautiful inlay. I played it. It rocks. He rocks.
Mike also consulted on our Database and continues to serve both as a architect for good design as well as an over all mentor and advisor for the project.

Jeremy Cooper
Jeremy is amazing. He helped design the Database, consulted on the server setup, has added several features, and continues to work on some of the more challenging aspects of the code base and bug fixes.
He's also the keyboardist for Sol Horizon and fixes most of our gear. "Have soldering iron, will travel".
A brilliant genuine soul. Get to know him if you can.
